Greenwich has one crematorium located alongside the Eltham Cemetery.
The Eltham Crematorium has two chapels, and an enclosed Garden of Remembrance.
The North Chapel has seating for 100 and room for 100 more to stand. The West Chapel has seating for 78, and room for an additional 50 people to stand.
The chapels can be booked in 30-minute blocks. An organist is available, as are facilities for you to play your own choice of music. The crematorium has a comprehensive list of CDs and musical scores.
Both chapels have wheelchair access, waiting areas, and toilets.
Floral tributes are displayed in a special area outside the chapels following the service.
Arrangements can be made for a small number of mourners to view the coffin being placed into the cremator following the service.
