The Crematorium opened in 1957. Since then over 84,000 cremation services have been held there. The chapel is in a traditional style, seating just over 100 people. CDs and cassette can be played, and there is a live organist. The waiting room suite is equipped with a coffee machine, water cooler and payphone. The toilets include one for disabled visitors, there is level access throughout, and a wheelchair is available on request. The chapel is fitted with a loop system.
