The crematorium is situated in sixteen acres of ground which was- formerly Kiln Copse, a woodland at the edge of Aldershot Park, on the south eastern boundary of the borough, close to the Surrey border.

The crematorium serves a large part of the surrounding area including much of North East Hampshire and parts of Surrey and Berkshire.

Providing a setting of peace and tranquillity, the Garden of Remembrance surrounding the crematorium provides for quiet contemplation and is a haven for wildlife. A wide variety of trees, shrubs and roses give a colourful display during most months of the year. Spring and summer planting is carried out annually and maintained to a high standard. Over the years planting has developed and now upwards of 6,000 roses and a wide variety of flowers and evergreen trees can be found in the grounds. Provision is made for cut flowers in the hall of remembrance and pot plants may be placed in the chapel.

The crematorium building was completely refurbished in 1996/97 to provide comfortable waiting facilities and to improve the quality of the bereavement service we offer. The office can be found in the main building. The facilities at the crematorium are fully serviceable for people with disabilities including disabled toilet facilities, braille books, hearing loop and wheel chair access ramps.
