The crematorium is close to the Archbishop's Palace, between the river and the A64. If arriving from the A64 take the exit signposted Bishopthorpe and follow the signs through Bishopthorpe village to the crematorium.

Buses to Bishopthorpe, Copmanthorpe and Appleton Roebuck pass by the entrance.

There is wheelchair access to all public areas and a specially adapted toilet. Anyone in a wheelchair is welcome to visit the crematorium before the funeral to discuss seating arrangements with us. Please contact the bereavement services manager and make an appointment.

The main chapel has an induction loop for use by people with hearing problems.
