The Crematorium (situated in an undulating woodland setting) is approached by a drive which is split by a wall projecting from the building: the West Chapel entrance is to the left and the East Chapel entrance to the right.

It is hoped that the natural woodland setting of the crematorium will provide visitors with a haven for quiet contemplation and remembrance. The grounds are open throughout the year and the Crematorium Manager and staff are also available for limited periods during weekends and public holidays. (Please check with Bereavement Services for further information).

Car parking is available for mourners and visitors. Friends and relatives may use the waiting rooms provided whilst awaiting the arrival of the funeral cortege. The Manager’s office is situated immediately inside the building, between the two entrances, and the circular book of Remembrance Chapel is just to the right of the main building. Please note that, with the exception of guide dogs, no dogs are permitted in the building or grounds.
