Cemetery
The cemetery grounds are open every day from:

Monday - Friday: 7.30am
Saturday: 9.00am
Sunday and Public Holidays: 10.00am

Gate closing times are seasonal and are advertised on the notice boards located at each entrance.

Crematorium
Ipswich Crematorium is situated in the New Cemetery.

It is approximately three miles from the town centre and, for those traveling by car, is best approached from the Colchester Road, via Cemetery Lane.

There is a one-way traffic system in operation, whereby corteges enter via the main entrance in Cemetery Lane and leave by the southern exit in Belvedere Road.

All administrative work regarding cremations and associated services is carried out at the Cemetery Office.

The Cemetery Office is situated at the Colchester Road end of Cemetery Lane (about 200 yards from the main entrance gates) and is open to the public from:
Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 1.00pm & 2.00pm - 4.30pm

The Office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and on Public Holidays.
