The Chanterlands Crematorium is approached by a long attractive drive lined with rose trees. A portico provides protection over the main entrance and a comfortable waiting room is available for mourners just inside the door.

Music can be provided but requests for favourite hymns, songs, tapes or CDs are welcome. The chapel organ is also available for use during services.

The Garden of Remembrance, which extends for 20 acres around the Crematorium, is well established and beautifully landscaped, carefully planted with trees, shrubs, bulbs and roses and an attractive feature is the pond.

Seats are provided for those who want to stay for a while and the hand crafted Book of Remembrance which contains details of individual anniversaries, is displayed in a specially constructed pavilion within the Garden.
